The Middle School Courtyard Classroom was an Eagle Project that was led by Riley Robertson in order to provide a convenient location inside the middle school courtyard located in the middle of the Fairview Middle School building. This project was intended to allow students to learn outside while still being a few steps away from the building. In the classroom, there are five benches which are arranged around a square platform facing the building with a whiteboard on the wall. Due to the classroom's location, it is very easy to access during early autumn and mid-spring. Other uses for the outdoor classroom include using it as an area to work in groups on projects or having a discussion on a topic in a class. Using the courtyard classroom, students can learn in an outdoors environment while still being close to the school.
