Please join us in congratulating and welcoming Mr. Stark, Fairview School Disrict Superintendent. He was sworn in by Judge Mead Thursday morning among family, friends, and colleagues. Welcome to the Fairview Family, Mr. Stark! See you April 1!

Mr. Stark's Biography:

Donald "Skip" Stark has spent most of his career working for the Millcreek Township School District.  He

started as a history teacher at Wayne Middle School in the City of Erie before moving to Walnut Creek Middle

School in 1999. He also served as the Head Girls' Soccer Coach for McDowell High School for many years.

Administratively, Mr. Stark was the principal of Rice Avenue Middle School in the Girard School District and later served as principal of Tracy Elementary and Walnut Creek Middle School. Most recently, he has spent nine years as the principal of Asbury Elementary School.

From 2017 to 2023, Mr. Stark also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Gannon University, where he taught school financial management, sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring educational leaders.

Mr. Stark currently resides in Millcreek with his wife of 31 years, Jeanene. They have two grown children. Their son, Ethan, works in the finance industry and resides in Texas with his wife, Donna. Their daughter, Morgan, lives in Pittsburgh and is a Clinical Pharmacist at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital. Mr. Stark enjoys reading, spending time with family, golfing, and traveling in his free time.

Mr. Stark feels privileged to have spent his career within the Millcreek Township School District, where he had the opportunity to touch the lives of countless students, teachers, and families. He is excited to embark on a new chapter as the Superintendent of the Fairview School District and looks forward to joining our District's exceptional team of administrators, teachers, students, families, and support staff.
