We would like to congratulate our very own, Miss Clark, on receiving a Golden Apple Award from JET24. We could not be more proud of her for this very deserving and earned recognition. Miss Clark works tirelessly every day to provide an education specifically designed for our Kindergarten through 2nd-grade Autistic students. She is a very special teacher with a "Golden" heart for her students. Congratulations Miss Clark!!
Unified Bocce Match against the Huskies.
Congratulations to the FHS Unified Bocce team on their first match against Harborcreek today. Harborcreek came away with the victory, but every student on the court was a winner today.
Nobody gets into the spirit of Holidays like Fairview Elementary School! We have live Gingerbread Men who greet our car riders, a Holiday Sing-a-long led by our cheeriest Elf, Ms. Shally and even Santa paid us a visit!
Our favorite therapy dog, Nasa, came for a visit and pretended to be Santa and his reindeer! Silly Nasa!
Dr. Bookhamer has some fun surprises in store for our 3rd graders, including this large 3-D printed T-Rex. More to come next week...

Laurie Nicholson and her certified therapy dog Arie Rose come in consistently to work with our students. Arie even ran into First Grade as they were going to Special. Since she loves being around kids, she was a happy dog!
In the fall, our autistic support teachers took their students to Dance Vibes! Dance Vibes offers a Special Vibe dance program for children with all disabilities to become creative and express themselves. Our students had an absolute blast and danced their hearts out!
All Friday Events Canceled
Due to the extreme weather forecast for Friday, our campus will be closed and all events (practices) are canceled.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season from Fairview Middle School!
Our final Fairview Foundation Hero of the Day for 2022 is a very special one. This student embodies what it means to be a Fairview Tiger and to do all things with love. Waylon Stevens, in Mrs. McKechnie’s class, noticed that a student in his class was sitting all by themselves in the cafeteria. Due to Waylon’s caring heart, he decided to switch seats and join that student so they were not alone. Waylon’s thoughtfulness shines each day through his kind actions, and that makes his classroom and our school a great place to be! Congratulations Waylon Stevens for being a great friend!

Congratulations to our 2022 holiday card contest winner, Paislee Leone. Paislee is in Kindergarten at FES. She is pictured here with her Art Teacher, Miss Lybrook and her parents, Vince and Allison. Paislee's card will be shared with all of our District employees and school friends. Great work, Paislee!
In Mrs. Tost’s 7th grade ELA class, students practiced their informative presentations by going from station to station in the Co-lab. They completed tongue twisters to practice enunciation, used the stage to practice body language, and worked on volume and eye contact to prepare for their speeches. The repeated practice and low pressure environment led to some awesome speeches about Jeeps, soccer cleats, TVs, fishing poles, and so many other interesting topics!
FHS artists volunteered to bring joy to the halls of Pleasant Ridge Manor by painting the windows for the holiday season.
