Just a reminder to join us on Sunday at noon.
Mrs. Gerber's 6th grade honors math classes spent the week learning about proportional relationships. They worked very hard interpreting word problems and determining how to correctly set-up proportions and solve for missing values. The students enjoyed practicing the skills with puzzles, pixel art activities, and an escape room.

Officer Stevick and our students had a great day on Grinch Day! Officer Stevick even brought in his trusty sidekick, Mickie, to play Max! Mickie loved the role and all the love she got from the students! Needless to say, she was exhausted by the time she got home!

These 4 Elementary School students were by a door that led outside and they saw their teacher outside trying to get in the door. Even though they knew who that adult was, they remembered the safety instructions given to them by our SRO, Officer Stevick, and they promptly notified another adult instead of opening the door themselves. Because of this, these students are now officially a part of Officer Stevick's School Safety Academy! We are very proud of them!!
During a field trip to the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 5th and 6th grade students participated in a Hack-a-Thon and created unique devices.
One group created a device to help stop the spread of infectious diseases in schools that sprays a mist that kills viruses and bad bacteria. This device can be installed on the ceiling and is refillable.
Another Group created a bus safety system. It has 2 plastic screens on every seat that automatically rise to shield students from diseases. It also has a disinfectant that sprays down to clean the system at the end of each route.
Come out and see an amazing show this weekend.
